Principles
SDC Mahottari strongly believes and advocate the following principles to eradicate child labor and ensure universal quality education, which all of the SDC MAHOTTARI Item members are fully committed to adhering to:
- All children should be enabled attending formal school's days full-time,
- Every out-of-school child is a child laborer irrespective of whether the childis engaged in wage or non- wage work, workingfor the family or for others, employed in hazardous occupations, employed on daily wages, or on a contract basis as bonded labor.
- All work/labor that a child isengaged with is hazardous as it harms their overall growth and Development.
- There must be total abolition ofchild labor.
- Any justification perpetuating the existence of child labor must be condemned.
